The 1/8-1/4" space is necessary for the flex but yes, the ebay bumper fits like shit. I still love that thread though!

See I've seen other posts of people with it and it fits just fine, so I'm wondering if I somehow messed up or if it's just shoddy quality. Leaning towards shoddy quality at this point, but my own competence has been questioned at times.

The fact that there is a gap is not what bothers me. It's the fact that there is virtually no gap at the grill and big gap by the fender. My ARB has a good sized gap between the bumper and the body...more than I like realistically, and more than I see others with the ARB bumper...but it is consistent all the way around. I'd rather have the gap and not contact the body than the other way around.

I've followed that thread since day one and I'm not sure I've seen one fit "good". Not trying to be a dick, that bumper just doesn't follow the body lines well.

Maybe "good" isn't exactly the right word lol, but I've definitely seen them fit better than mine. But honestly mine was a mess from the get-go in terms of quality so I shouldn't be that surprised.

It is what it is. I knew I'd be taking a risk. It'll serve it's purpose just fine for now, but one day I'll get something a little more aesthetically pleasing.

Got the alignment done with the new tires, i think it still needs some tweaking though, it’s a slight pull to the right

also is the rear toe#s way outta whack or is that normal?
    14CDDA12-EA33-4EB7-8655-ADD71D121AA3.jpg
gonna drive it for a day or two and see if it’s still consistent before bringing it back to them to get it totally straight so i can go “look ma no hands!”
