    You know, the limb was a dead limb and I didn't think it was all that big or heavy to do that much damage. My guess is that the sheet metal is much thinner to save weight and mpgs...

    I bought mine (Goodyear brand) at a Ross discount store for 10.99. Has lasted 6 months with no problem. I have a 70 lb active lab. I would go to one of these discount stores and pick one up

    I like having the cover but after every thing I think I would just do a canopy.

    So if you do run the tonneau cover with the rack, you cannot fold open the cover. Any items that roll back towards the cab you have to crawl into the bed to get. It does keep stuff dry in there. I usually try to keep all the items towards the tailgate for easy access, usually just my camp cookware tote and my cooler.

    I really like the look of the KB rack though.
