You talking about that Wizgear mount? It fell off already?

 

Mine wasn't a Wizgear, it was the MPOW brand one. Similar design but it did not hold well. I'll look into the Wizgear one too before deciding

 

Mine has been mounted since before summer... still holding strong. We had a few 110°+ days... didn't even phase it.

 

We had the same morning. LOL. I’m just going to best buy and having them install some car play deal radio.

 

I’m surprised we can’t do something with the ashtray deal.

 

My RAM mount will be for sale soon. Once I mount a ball to my dash to the blank filler piece where the airbag shutoff switch is on XtraCabs (and regular cabs).
I put my sunshade up all the time and constantly having to remove the suction cup mount is a little annoying.

 

Love my RAM mount. I used a motorcycle ball adapter and bolted it to the grab handle on the 'A' Pillar.

By far my favorite mod, I use it every single time I drive the truck.

 

I’m rocking two of the A-pillar mounts: driver side for the phone and passenger side for my InReach, and I’ve been beyond pleased with both of them. They don’t get in the way of my
shade and they’re rock solid over bumps and washboard.

 

Its more than a little difference on a loaded rig. Would be great with 35s, you'll want them then haha

the only truck I have driven that the stock taco brakes have surprised me with their effectiveness is on SX, but it only weighs 3300lbs

 

Wow, they aren't much lighter than a Xtra cab are they? I wouldn't have thought closer to 3k even. Xtra cab is only 3500 or so curb weight unloaded. We will see what I end up doing. In not against it, bit I also didn't feel the need on the past two trucks at all. I use the manual to it's fullest and I've only changed the stock brakes twice in the combined 90k I drove (the brakes on the green truck went to the grey truck)

 

I split time, with Brennen, driving from PHX to Colorado Springs in your last truck. I will say, the MT does make a difference, being able to down shift. The brakes were fine. (But then again, we were no where near as loaded as my DC is, going to and coming from trips)

But the Tundy brakes are soooo much better lol

 

My RC weighed in @ 3,082 new.
After SAC, just under 4,300 pounds. The Tundra up-grade is a GOD send.

 

hmm i thought the extended cab was 4300 dry?

I'll have to check the manual.

Still it stops on a dime...actually locks them up easy which Frank never did really.

 

Curb Weight for a DC Prerunner is 3475.

 

High clearance tube bumper. Kinda like spoonmans old bumper. Just simple. I think it will flow well with the my trail gear bumper and 4xinnovation sliders. Ill be doing a swing out too

 

All this talk about tundra brakes makes me wish i had them last friday. Maybe my pig woulda stopped when that lady pulled out in front of me. I wrecked her subaru! Maybe that's another upgrade for the future. So ill need 16s, new tires, new brake setup...its never ending

also did you wire up the fail safe on that gauge?

 

I'd have figured you'd run something even better considering you changed to a solid axle. At 4800lbs with 33s loaded for camping I never really had any complaints. We will see what 35s and whatever running weight I end up prompts me to do. I don't really want to rule out being able to run a 15" wheel though, tire prices are far better.
