Any woodworkers?

Awesome! Electric or torch heated? Size? Who did you go through?

 

It's the base for a coffee table I have been working on for a while now.

 

Very cool. I've been watching a lot of epoxy videos on YouTube. The videos from the Stone Coat Countertop channel has a lot of good info and projects.

 

That is absolutely beautiful!

 

Well its set up for torch or flame, but its not threaded on the back so im going to drill a pin hole to hold the electric brand and see if that works. I found a guy on etsy that makes them. I think its 2" i didnt measure it. I was back and forth on 1.5" or 2". Didnt take as long as i thought. But still not quick.

 

I watched a bunch of their videos before I built the table top. It helped as I was deciding how I wanted to make it.

 

Getting closer to being done

 

I ripped a 570.00 cedar beam last week. I call that a “big commitment”

The 10” Miluakee Saw didn’t do to great, I had to do 8 passes, two for each cut. I pretty much burned the saw up.

Laser etched, i think i will paint it blue, and the upper symbol black. Basically scavenging the internals and numbers from this clock

Im just going to try and sell it. If it works out i may make another. I dont make a bunch just sell pieces as i go

 

Just need to put some hooks for hanging
