Was there a point to the photos you embedded? Do you have literal autism?

I just wanted to throw up a nice picture in this thread. That Liberty was actually a decent little vehicle, if you drove it like you weren't worried about it long-term.

Honestly, I’ve wheeled a rental Jeep Liberty as hard as I wheel my Tacoma. It drove great. Jeep has the design of off-road-capable suspension figured out. I was surprised.

You’re seem to be implying our engineers and engine designers have it wrong from the start by compering us to other parts of the world like Europe.

But you can’t compare the US with any other country.

Our country is different than Europe different driving style. People treat their vehicles different there, here we slam on the brakes, stump the pedal to the metal, we travel down dusty gravel roads, steep bridges, 10k ft. high mountains, desserts, we drive up six+ floors to park our vehicles in all kinds of different weather or atmospheric environments, the list of operational differences is endless.

In sum, we know our vehicle needs better than the Europeans or anyone else. Our vehicles are mostly larger, weight more, have larger different engines, that have strict emission components that do terrible heat damage and require even more components to keep it in check.

Try bringing a Benz sold at a regular dealership in Europe design to operate there and get it thru customs, and good luck with that my friend.
Any vehicle maker that expects to make good ling lasting vehicles here has to learn how to design them to operate here.

Moreover, I have provided credible documentation, pictures of sludge infested engine, and video proof of its existence, but where is your proof?

Show us some credible documents that prove the internal combustion engine has no harmful by-products that need to be physically taken out of the crankcase.

And I'll continue to change my oil as I see needed because its my money, my vehicle, my choice, thank you very much.

Shit man......have you heard of Russia? Have you driven in Italy? Have you seen the roads through the alps? Cobblestones much? What is this about North American weather and pedal stompers?

    Are you on commission?

Can we both admit you are grasping now? It’s OK. We are all family here. Hurtful things have been said, and sides have been chosen, but Tacoma bros we remain (‘cept for the dweebs who bought a runner)

That’s the spirit! Let’s hang out on the weekend and change our air filters! What interval do you recommend?

What if you do mostly dirt road driving? I mean, the life of the filter would dramatically decrease due to the increase particle density it must filter...

I change my filter anywhere between 18-30k, or 1-2 yrs depending on conditions but I have to come clean (no pun intended) I never replace my ATF or check the fluid level unless there's a leak. And I mean NEVER, please don't hate me brah

Inspect every 15k when you drive primarily in those conditions.

I rerouted my exhaust pipe to the intake. Seemed awful wasteful to clean up all that air and just dump it...

As a matter of fact I do. I dug up an old 40 qt Coleman out of a ditch last time I went through Oklahoma. I get about a pound of ice to the mile.
