Yeah same story down here, granted the trucks arent as bad. My mom and sisters car are rust free. My truck originated only 100 miles north, and without the CRC (thank the lord the tech applied it right, and it only had 25k when it was done in 2010) I have no doubt that the frame would be gone by now based on how crusty some of the non frame related parts are.

 

It's fine for taking out transmissions, but putting them back in with the adjustable jack makes your life easier.

 

Why, I sold it to him. I don't need it anymore haha

Well, yeah. Gotta read the entire convo haha. I need a 2001-2002 SR5 4Runner HVAC faceplate.

But I may just send it with the red bulbs anyway. Shouldnt look much different with a slight orange tint over them.

i still cant find a 01-02 4runner HVAC faceplate to save my life fuck i might try and make the digital temp work.

 

I kept the transfer case on which made it harder, I didn't feel like taking it off.

 

Normal people work mon-fri. Because ots better

 

i only leave the cases on.. theyre more of a bitch to put on with the trans already in the truck.

I hate being Monday through Friday. I'd prefer to be Sunday through Thursday. One weekday would be nice, lots of automotive stuff isn't open on the weekends

Thanks. Both of my local yards that actually stock imports on the regular usually only get the early 1996-2000 style 4runners. Lame 2wd's with no options at all.

We get plenty of 2001+ 4Runners, usually Limited. I rarely find non-SR5 or non-Limited 4Runners. They're mostly all 4WD too.

 

i want to get green interior lights in the taco... sooo green ashtray backing is a must.

 

Or when you run out of welding gas at 4:30 on a Friday, and the supply place closes at 5.
