I ordered the H7 LED lights that were recommended by another guy in this forum and there is no way these fit in any way. I think it’s so weird that spyder and Tacoma beast don’t list bulbs needed for these.

Not sure what I’m looking at there — on the older spyder headlights there’s a dust cover you take off and then you take out the bulb. The H7 to H11 adapter is grommeted through the dust cap. Does that cover you are showing come off?

The 2 prong male on the bottom is the H7 connection, and the 2 prong female (smaller) is the inside of the dust cap that the bulb connects too. I’m thinking these are just H11 receptacles, I just have to go grab them out of my truck when I get home and check it out.

Gotcha, so the H7 male you’re holding up is from the bulb itself? Snap a picture of the inside of the housing with the bulb installed. The distance between the bulb and the inside of the dust cap might be really small, but the bulbs I linked somehow squeezed in mine. But again, I have the older version.

I just watched Jesse Rizzo’s (YouTube DYI guy for Tacoma’s) video on these and his dust cap was completely different dust cap with a pin that secured the bulb. Not only is my dust cap a basic rubber lid that slides on, there is no pin to secure the bulb. Pretty frustrating.

They probably got around to figuring out people were swapping them out.
Screw it — drill those connectors out and put HIDs in with a new grommet.

So yeah... the new ones are pretty different in subtle ways. My son is pretty into them haha

Kid definitely looks intrigued. Those headlights look complicated. I'd just drill out all the stuff you don't want and put an H7 HID kit in there. Retain their H7 to H11 adapter and close it all up with some RTV silicone and a new grommet.

Yea, I was confused too but they definitely use stock bulbs. Popped everything out of my stock headlight and put them into the new ones. I was annoyed that my LED side markers didn’t work after installation.. anyone else experience that? TB told me to reach out to Spyder directly for customer support and maybe they’ll have to replace them.

Maybe I didn’t connect those properly. Any trick to have them work? Unless they’re just reflectors? Forgive my stupid question if so.. lol

Has anyone installed H11 LED bulbs or HID with these headlights yet? If so, what are your perspectives?

What? It’s not their fault they’re too busy defacing national parks to respond.
