    Well I forget who said it but you were right. Only about a month ago they put me on the frame recall list and said 6month wait.
    Got the call today, going in first week of December to get he job done. Will have it back in one week! Can’t wait! So exited!
    Next up is front seat upholstery. Anyone know a spot that does a nice job at a decent price? I’ve got a tear on the driver seat and it’s gotta get fixed up. I figure with a new frame I’m going to have it for another 100k miles at least!

    In my opinion you can definitely use the two vacation days as you wish. As a matter of fact, I feel you deserve 3 more vacation days so take a full week off to give your Taco some much deserved love and care (keep in mind I have no right or power to grant you this).

    I haven't used them, but this place seemed promising:

    I wanted a seat redone & she told me it would be cheaper to get a used seat & steal the skin off it. She tried to find a seat for awhile & finally called me to say she couldn't find one. By then, I decided to put the project on hold. But the work I saw there seemed well done & she seemed to be shooting straight with me.

    Your wait seems to match what I've heard, they get you in faster than originally promised. Now you'll need to get it fluid filmed or such.

    thanks I’ll check them out. Yes I think I’ll be ready to join the fluid film parties now seeing as I don’t think Toyota will be doing my frame twice! Also you had mentioned brake lines and such, apparently they come all new with the frame along with a bunch of other pre-attached stuff like electrical and rubber fittings!
