UGAs offense isn’t inept, either. It’ll be a good game. I just don’t think LSU is gonna blow their doors off anymore.

Not in the state of Louisiana but LSU has the more impressive team IMO. You can say the exact same thing for UGA and many other teams....Fromm has an average game they have a long night aka this past weekend, ND & USCe, so your point really isn't sticking...

It sure is going to be nice to taste the tears in here if we win out, and we will have to decide which UGA fan gets to be the OP. And I have to decide what to do with the money from the futures bet I placed on us to win the Natty right after we lost to usc, at +1400 odds.

That it isn’t a sure fire win for LSU? Sure thing. I’ll be on the side of every objective analyst out there that thinks UGAs defense could play better than LSU’s offense and win because LSU’s defense sure as hell isn’t stopping anyone.

They’ve transformed into the OU of the SEC this year. Spectacular offense, but zero balance. Seen this a lot already with Holgs, Stoops, Riley, Briles, etc.

    Not gonna be a problem...

GA is eliminated from contention in SEC CCG. This is Georgia (the state) we are talking about... The sports teams are synonymous with blowing the big games... Falcons, Braves, Bulldogs  props to Atlanta United FC though

But if they do win out (whoever doesn't matter to me being a mid level to bottom feeder fan :bananadead::D), I say you get the thread starting privileges and shower all of us with gifts off of your bet winnings! Hell, I'll even cheer ya on! :fistbump::devil:

UGA, got the confidence of bama and trophy case of Vandy :anonymous: unfortunately I have become a braves fan since moving to GA and having gone to all 3 home playoff game's idk how these people do it year in and year out, not sure what they sold to the devil but hope it was worth it back in the day :bananadead:

Atlanta United actually let us down again this year (I was there when we won last year though and it was wild). I'm a realist, I am a fan of and have been to playoff games for all of the above mentioned teams (plus the hawks), and have been at each SECCG, the Rose Bowl, the Natty, Baton Rouge last year, you name it... and have left the final game of each season with the same feeling. I have sworn off sports fandom at least 10 times. That is why I said if and not when... but every year they somehow suck me in again, this year is no different. If we hang 40 on aTm I'll be back to confident again, just like every year.

I also think we have a few more SECCG trophies than Vandy. Oh, and i also place that futures bet on the Braves every year to win the division, the league, and the WS. At least the division bets have paid off a few times. Good luck being a braves fan, its fun during the season but sucks in October.

Edit: but the feeling I experienced at the Rose Bowl, at ND, at the SECCG against Auburn, at the Auburn blackout game, etc... make it all worth it, unbeatable feeling

there are a few of us in here that are OG...someone (mod) would have to decide which of us got the thread starting privilege.
This past weekend wasn’t a “long night”. It was 21-0 going into the 4th and we went from man to zone for some reason which has screwed us all season. I firmly believe if we stay in man, we blank auburn.

I never said LSUs defense wasn't a liability, but you compare say the Auburn game (UGA allowed 14, LSU allowed 20...or the Florida game, UGA allowed 17 and LSU allowed 28) they aren't that far off. The LSU D isn't perfect, but it does what's needed (see ass whooping against Alabama's stellar offense in the first half of that game). UGAs defense isn't "godly", and they haven't played an offense even NEARLY as capable as LSUs. I'm not saying it's a blowout.

I'm not sure where you saw a bashing from a 4-6 team...

I’m referring to the offensive output they put on LSU’s defense. The wide open running lanes were insane. They could have loaded me up in a wagon and pulled me for five yards.. and I like LSU this year.

I’ve compared the games and agree they’re close, but I’m saying I don’t see what was predicted to be a fairly confident LSU win as the case anymore. If Kirby can get out of his own way (which is the most unlikely of all scenarios), it could be a game.

"could be" a game. Georgia has played against worse defenses than LSUs, and has had worse production numbers than they should have. It's literally lethargic LSU defense vs. Mediocre Georgia Offense, and Phenomenal LSU offense vs Phenomenal (albeit untested) Georgia Defense.

the fact Georgia's defense hasn't played an offense like LSUs, but LSUs offense has played defenses like Georgias...and LSUs defense has played Offenses much better than Georgias...I give the nod to LSU every day of the week. battle tested means something in the SEC.

lol ok for taking that the wrong way.

example: Minnesota not battle tested at all, gets 1 good win over Penn St, but then gets beat by Iowa.

Yes, yes, good. Let your confidence grow. I hope Coach O has you come speak to the team before the game and the sentiment spreads.
