Despite what you typed above, you appear both confident and cocky (and for good reason, great season so far), and better at authoring long posts than critical reading. My original comment was that it would be great if that happened, and then I explained my doubt in our ability to win out. The reason I said it would be great if that happened was primarily your growing confidence/cockiness in the thread and the blinders that you are increasingly wearing as of late. If we crush aTm, I'll regain some confidence because we will go into the Benz 11-1 with a strong SOS, and your defense sucks. We will still deservedly be an underdog, but winning is by no means out of the question, as others in the thread who are not UGA fans are opining.

I'm not saying it's out of the question, but you and the others are acting as if Georgia's offense is stellar, and that the defense can stop anyone even though they haven't played a good offense as of yet. Yes, LSUs defense is terrible, but other teams that Georgia has faced have had worse defenses and Georgia didn't put up much production.

Sometimes I come in this thread and miss the days when LSU lost to Troy.

I don't believe anyone thinks Georgia's offense is stellar, quite the opposite (especially on UGA specific message boards/forums/comment sections). We have the potential to be good (not stellar) but have not played well once yet. We can definitely score on lsu if Vandy and Ole Miss can. Our defense is pretty good, and won't need that many stops to make it a game.

Good stuff from Mandel on the Athletic today on Gus' future. Long story short, he'll be there a while, even if he shouldn't.

You need more stops than you think. Alabama couldn’t get enough. LSU responded to every Alabama score with a Td aside from 1 and then the final drive they took a knee. And Alabama has a much more prolific offense than Georgia.

But bama was just a successful onside kick, another Long TD pass , and a defensive stop away from winning... #5PointsAintMuch

but if it wasn’t for all the blown defensive coverages, it wouldn’t have even been a game.
