Maintanence is pretty simple, just keep the uniball clean with water and if needed you can use just a mild multipurpose cleaner to get caked on debris off.
Zirk fittings are easy to access after loosening the bolts a bit to grease the bushings and we normally recommend doing that along with your oil change intervals.
So for some that is twice a year, and others thats more, but we like to keep an eye on them every 5000 miles or so. Excessive greasing can cause the bushings to
prematurely deteriorate.
Your local mechanic should be able to easily grease the bushings if you don't have the tools to do so.
DO NOT GREASE THE UNIBALL.
Very important to only clean the uniball.
Grease causes premature wear and excessive squeaking.

I usually add something like triflo to them a few times a year. So no lube of any kind on the uniball?

We highly discourage any lubricant or grease of any kind on the uniball itself.
What happens is that the grease eats away at the teflon and that is what essentially greases the uniball and keeps debris out of the uniball cup.
