    HOLY CRAP! David --------> :devil:

    Damn, so I wonder once I go to 255/85 how much of that will have to be cut away? I'm already guessing the flaps would go (not an option to run them with bushwackers), and some of the fender liner re-formed.

    Damn!

    not where the flares are..

    like the front fenders.. 05-15 front fenders are the same, the difference is between base/any other trim that has flares.

    when I had 255/85s I didnt have to do any trimming. I dont think people have to cut the cab mount either

    I would think the bottom back area of that flare would have to come off like the mud flap.
    From what I read, on here, on the 3rd gen, you have to heat and reform the fender liner and remove the front mud flaps.

    The 255/85 is 2.2" taller or basically 1.1" closer to the flap/flare. Width is +1" as well.

    I'm running 255/85's and I can confirm that you don't need to trim.

    Rob I ran 255/85 on a second gen with extremely minimal trimming at the bottom of the fender flare and removed front flaps. I've read that the 3rd gens clear a little easier and have read countless accounts of them fitting with no rubbing. Still planning on using the steel wheels we expressed?

    Also, new truck :drool:...but too nice for me. Nice and shiny isn't a part of my lifestyle at this point.

    No spacers, but my rims are offset (forget how much), so basically yes. But I think spacers makes it worse, correct?

    Yeah spacers make it worse - at least from what I have seen

    My rims are 16x8 -10 offset. I don't know what that spacing works to.
