Not yet. They were aware before the trip. Called their shop in Lodi a week ago. They're supposed to get back to me to set something up. I'll probably have to call them again.

Oregon is $248.50 for brand new vehicle for 4 years.
Renewal for 2 year plates is $112.

Me and the wife's plates are good until 2023, and I will register again in Oregon if I decide to stay in the AF longer than my 20. Its super cheap!

CA loves the fees. To even send in the application for Erica's RN license (already licensed in 3 other states) she had to give them $350, plus the fees associated with fingerprints, college transcripts, etc.

 

This is true. Dealer license took a ridiculous amount of $’s in random fees and just to get her RN here in CA, my lady has already had to pay a bunch, with more to come. Sucksssss

 

Shes already an RN thankfully. The 350 was just the application. $75 for prints (FedEx location was the only one close). Around $40 for transcripts. She could be looking at another $100 in continuing education stuff after that. I dunno. At least she'll be making some money soon.

 

Yeah, those fees all sound about right for my lady too. I keep reminding her of how good RN's have it out here in CA too (on average) with pay and benefits, so that's been keeping her sane through everything. Looking forward to day she gets her first RN paycheck and can finally do what she loves to do.

 

Just remind her the first jobs out of school can suck. Wife worked as a floor tech in a heart hospital first pulling lines out of peoples arms. She also did some time in a nursing home. She worked allergy/immunology in Seattle and loved the hours/position. She is hoping to find another office type setting instead of the hospital... but those are harder to find and typically ask for experience (how do you get experience if everyone says experience required??)

 

Gotta love Turds! Mine is having issues too. Can't switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive. That's why I couldn't make it to Bald mountain. I hate all these freaking electronics.

 

Knowing the time of year, I think they're hiding out back here...
