So I have a question for anyone that has either of these racks. I've seen multiple pictures with the light bar and at times it looks like the light bar sits higher than the top of the crossbars. Is that the case or is it just the camera angle? I can't imagine putting any weight on a light bar without damaging it.

If you get a "slim" aka single row, light bar, then it shouldn't stick above the fairing. I don't believe mine does.

@Cappy I got a single row bar and it sits below crossbars slightly.

I have the rigid horse light bar, same as @TacoSauceHB I believe. Never hooked it up yet :anonymous: and will probably replace it with a Baja Designs OnX6+ 40" at some point.

I went with Victory. I like how it looks a little better and also like how it was engineers to be stronger with the steel mounting brackets. The light bar was a cheap Amazon one since I knew I wouldnt use it a whole lot. Iposted the link for it a few pages back.

I think I'm leaning towards the Victory as well. I'll scroll back and see what you posted. I dont need anything fancy as I'm not sure I really even need it but I like the idea just in case plus i like the way it looks. I just need to decide on how to run the wiring before I decide on the deflector. If I cant do it cleanly then i may not get a light bar. My OCD wont allow me to do a crappy job..lol. Thanks for the info.

What wiring kit did you get? And did you just wire it down the side of the windsheild?

Got the wiring kit harness from Cali raised. And yes I just put some RVT silicone over it. Doesnt look super pretty but we get a ton of snow up here and I dont want it coming loose.

No the led bar fits... I got a 41" and it fits perfectly. I meant the wiring harness kit doesn't fit in the slot along the windshield. Too fat
