I'm bored, thinking about how'd I'd spend all this imaginary money I don't have.

 

Just sitting at work, waiting for 7am

I'm trying to figure out a way to grab a Tacoma bed and back half of the frame from a localish junkyard

 

Trailer?

 

I have a 6x10 utility trailer. I'm trying to find a few buddies to help me grab it

 

I meant, are you turning it into a trailer?

 

There are laws for how much you work? I do 18+ hours a day! WTF?!

 

I can work a 16 hour shift as long as I'm not working the next day

 

I do that all the time.... Though it's mostly thinking about how I need money for actual books and trying to figure out how I'm going to get it

 

Depends on what you do I believe.

 

Event production. I drive a 26’ box truck. Setup lighting, audio & video for events. Tech the shows then breakdown all equipment and return it to the warehouse.
It never ends lol

 

Oh, yeah. I bought a tall ARE contractor cap for it the other weekend

I think we can work 16 if we have an 8hr break in b/t the next shift.

 

Maybe it wasn't a law, was a safety thing. 8 hours between shifts minimum.

 

Yeah I think it's an OSHA thing. Max we can do is 16hrs with 8hrs inbetween. Max of 60hrs a week. I think there's also a limit to how many days in a row too. Ya know safety reasons N'shit.

 

Yeah I work in a machine shop, so I don't need to fall into any machinery from exhaustion!

 

But yet they'll have you working short staffed for days on end

 

Well. Woke up late for work, got all the way here and realized I forgot my ID so I had to go back home to get it and be even more late.

In other news, I'm not having a good time.

Need coffee.

Sup. Supposed to get some snow-like weather tonight, too.
Gave the fiancee the new phone yesterday. She's diggin it so far. Got her number transferred over and everything.
