My OEM's are sitting in the Morimoto box at the front of my garage. I stare at them everyday.

Hanging onto them. Will either do a future retrofit project, or will end up back on the truck if I ever decide to sell or trade in. Then the morimotos go up for resale as I'll recoup more from selling those as I would the stock OR headlights.

Mine are in the box up in the attic

Plan to keep my OEM headlights, for a rainy day. Not sure if I’d care for what headlights I have 5 years from now.

I just have mine listed for sale on TW but I’ve taken mine apart and painted them and added some goodies from TRS and Diode Dynamics to them, so we’ll see if anyone wants ‘em.

So i haven't been active for the last 7 days (involuntarily... that'll happen if you try to post a "Feeler" post for a GP without reading the B/S/T Rules - Completely my fault)

I definitely don't want to add any more negativity here, but also want to share with what has been going on with my lights since I have been gone....

@TRSAndrew - Not sure if I just haven't noticed it anymore, but I haven't noticed the DRL turning on overnight anymore (I may just sleep through it and neighbors don't bother me about it anymore) - I haven't changed anything so not sure if its still an issue. If theres an official update on where the tap-a-fuse should go, where would it be posted?

So ... high and low beam adjustments... saw a couple other people have issues about it - If you feel like your high beams aren't effective, play with the adjustments on them, I found out that if you mess with the horizontal alignment and bring them closer to the center, you'll get what appears to be a more efficient/better light output.

Low beams... So they were extremely low when I first got them. I was able to adjust them to what I originally thought was an acceptable level until I went somewhere with a buddy where there was zero stray light output from external lights. Turns out I still had them too low, there was a huge dark spot to the left, towards the lane line if I was centered in a lane - I didn't notice this too much with street lights on. I went ahead and messed with the adjustment knobs. Turns out I over-adjusted (yay) and now my driver side low beam is aimed closer to where my foglights are aimed. I reached out to support and they're helping me through this, but now looking at the backorders, I am even scared to think about the turn around time if they were to ask for me to send them back.

To keep things positive... we live and we learn. Hopefully somewhere higher up TRS/Morimoto are learning from this experience - while nothing is perfect, these headlights had more issues than I personally expected (still badass lights). Also, whoever is making instruction guides for y'all... you may want to post a hiring ad soon (kidding... not kidding)... Adjustment instructions would have been greatly appreciated when I first bought these lol...

Couldn't agree more with that last part. Unfortunately these lights did not work out for me and am I'm in the process of returning mines for a refund because of problems after problems. It's a real shame because they looked so nice.

8mm ratcheting wrench will save you the trouble of moving anything else...like the washer fluid reservoir.

We have plenty of these lights in stock (298 sets) and ship them whenever we receive orders.

If you can follow up with us about the DRL outline we'll be glad to help directly!

I personally make the installation guides, but appreciate your feedback. As mentioned previously, the Tacoma lights have changed a lot of the processes we do now for pre-orders and releasing of lights. We hate how long they took to get to market more than anyone can imagine.

Is your light the one with the small gap in the DRL? No reason to return them based on that, as it's not only a simple fix by a dealer or us directly, but it can also be replaced at no cost under warranty.
