I have a couple questions, how do the S1s compare to the S2 pros as far as output and pattern using the same lense?

Also all my lights are white, I live in PA and encounter fog, rain and snow. How much different is driving in inclement weather with amber vs white? I have a road armor bumper on my 16 ram and have 4 pod spots I have 4x squadron pros for but considering putting in a set of white sae and Amber sae so I can use the appropriate fog for the given conditions. I have a white 40” onx6 hi power for the front bumper as well so I guess the squad pros shouldn’t really be “needed”. What do you guys think?

I found that driving with Squadron Sports with clear combo lenses was fine, but driving with the Pro in clear made my eyes tired. I was almost squinting with them all on. Snow made it worse.

I switched both over to amber and although it doesn't look as 'bright' I can easily drive and see during snow/fog no problem.

I drive at least an hour a day by my white light bar that doesn’t bother me. Just trying to figure out what to do in the 4 light pockets. Could get amber lenses for a pair of the squad pros, replace all the pros with saes in each color, just get 1 set of saes, lots of options I’m just not sure what’d be the best way to go

Output will be very similar between the S1 and the S2 Pro. You will have a bit more distance out of the S1 due to the larger reflector. I wish I had direct comparison photos that I could share.

Amber makes a significant difference in snow and other poor conditions. I personally love it and wouldn't run white if you have poor weather

I have good luck in the UT snow, dust, etc with ambers down low and whites up high.

If @Baja Designs can hook me up with an S1 then I've got a couple pairs of S2 Pros and a fancy light meter. I also have a drone that I could get some cool aerial shots with...:boink:

I wouldn’t hate that, I also have a pair of S2 pros, and a drone lol. But from the sounds of it if the output is that similar between the two then the S1 is a much better value given the price difference unless you had to have a combo pattern.

I think you have proven you can afford Baja lights on your own at this point.

At this point I should have stock in BD and they should slap some Baja Designs logos on my truck.

Because they aren’t actually SAE compliant. BD is working on a fix, but in the meantime they put a stop on additional units being sold.
