Glocks in 40 with a light can cause reliability issues. If you look at slow motion footage you can see the frames flexing. When Glock designed the guns the springs are designed to work at a certain speed. When you put a light on the gun you've basically reinforced the frame not allowing it to flex properly. The slide moves back faster then it was designed and usually the mag springs can't keep up with the faster slide movement. Also nothing is flexing therefore nothing is absorbing the recoil and the recoil spring and locking block can take a beating.

I remember seeing that video, I hate the Glock22. Forced to carry one for a few years and never had any reliability issues tho because of a wml. At least I don't remember having any

Received this neat little 3D printed display today from Amazon, mags fit tighter than I’d like but it works. The 19x doesn’t fit in the safe door pistol pouches.

How long did it take you to get your SOE belt after you ordered?

Ive always wanted one, but have heard a few horror stories. That was my thought as well that if you bought a plain Black in a common size you wouldn’t have to wait to long. I may roll the dice.

Some of this is a tolerance stacking issue. The G22 is usually better about the issue. But the G23 will usually have more of an issue with the light. My 22 never have me a problem but my 23 would take a fit every so often.

I missed your post. Would different springs solve the issue?
This will be part of my new setup. Esstac chest rig and pouches. I wear a magpul belt every day. My main glock is a 17L so it can be hard to find certain holsters for it. I also have the HL muffs.

Probably releasing a new pistol that look identical to all the other ones they’ve ever produced ;)
