Yep. I started spec'ing one out and it had 285s standard and build sheet said 33s

 

I’ve had three Jeeps, TJ, XJ, and the wife’s current mule is a Commander. The TJ and XJ were cool but I was always working on them. Stupid things were always running hot... This Commander is an absolute turd. I am not impressed with anything Chrysler has produced in the last 20 years. I was a Furd guy until I bought this Taco. Not going back to either one.

 

I've thought of doing an XJ trail beater.

It was pretty neat. It was a 96 with a 4” lift and TSL’s. The carpet and sound deadening had been replaced with diy rhino liner. Really friggin’ loud! Honestly, it was pretty sketch. The best part about that thing was that the rear squirter hose fell off one day when I was trying to wash the back window. “That’s not very cool” you might say... “oh contrare” says I. The hose normally attached to a barb on the back hatch that pointed straight out. So when the washer was engaged a 15’ stream of water shot straight out the back like a water fountain. I squirted soooooo many people with that Jeep that had no clue where it was coming from. If friends were behind me at a light... squirt. If someone was following too close... squirt. Trying to back out of a parking space and people were in the way... squirt. It. Was. The. Best! Literally the only thing I miss about that Jeep. The trans took a dump and we sold it as is to a lady who was going to fix it and put it on her family ranch.

Yeah man, appreciate ya! Having a plate taken out of my arm next tuesday, woot.

Been that way for years, having one of the two plates taken out.

 

Do you have a lot of pain?

much appreciated, a bit overwhelmed with everything. Pop's had so much crap I don't even know where to start sorting and cleaning. Just doing one day at a time right now.
