That is tempting but I feel like I've spent enough on my truck for right now since I got the lift kit and a bumper.

I have not modified my Dakars at all, I'm not sure which use case leads to the specific problem people are referring to. It's real, but not common.

Yes, I have fully flexed my pack out, about as much as is possible on these trucks and that didn't happen to me. Chicken Little screaming the sky is falling. That dude read what some other dude posted he read about something that happened to some dude on Instagram.

Ok, I'm just going to install them as is and go from there. I did put the speedway liners on them though to hopefully stop the squeaks.

I'll look at mine tomorrow, been on the truck for ~50k. I dont push my truck as much as @hoarder23 so if his are good I expect the same for mine.

Got a clunk of some sort the first time I touch the brakes after going from reverse to drive or the other way around. Where should I go poking around first?

Brake pads. See if they're clunking back and forth. Make sure everything is tight in your driveline.

Curious, never noticed it before, but I did recently have a brake job done... so that could be it.

I am... its not a new system, but it appears to be all there.

I know its not shop rates, but it's a nice juicy 20 ounce ribeye cooked to your liking... plus I will stop and get some of your beverage of choice (assuming I can get I at the beer store in DeSoto).

I'm working Saturday, otherwise I'd come help.

I did mine solo, it's pretty straight forward if you follow their directions.

Removing your camper top makes things even easier. I did not, so it took longer, but wasn't bad.

    Any specific concerns you have?

I dont have anything planned for Saturday, so I could probably come help. I have no idea how to install one, but I'm sure we can figure it out.

@cuda2k I see you wandered through, I'm thinking about buying a BRM 2015 and was wondering if you know of a good powder coat color that matches?

I think we have it under control. @Suprajim54 will be here to help... What more can a guy ask for?????

I also have a buddy coming, and if I know my dad... he will be here too.... At 76, he may not be too much help other than to tell us we are dong it wrong, and/or that's not the way they would have done it in Vietnam….
