I'm torn between a few different sliders. I want something sturdy, as I'm not an experienced offroader, so I'm sure I'll tag some rocks. I also like them angled up towards the cab, rather than flat.

I like the price of the Avid's, and I've heard good things about them. Are they angled upwards? How close to the cab do they tuck?

I also like SOS, but I'm not sure if there's much difference between them and Avid, and there's a major price diff.

I also am considering the Brute Force Fab sliders, as I have a BFF bumper and love it, and I like the BFF fill plates over the others.

Price is a big factor, as I'm in FL, and 95% of the trucks usage definitely doesn't involve rocks.

The Mobtown sliders are nice, but more than I'm able to spend.

Any opinions on these 3? or others?

If you are on the east coast I'd say Mobtown or SOS so you can save money on the shipping. Mobtown is running a 20% Black Friday sale right now too.

Avid actually has the cheapest shipping, at $75. Theirs and BFF end up costing about the same after shipping.

I won't recommend any particular brand, but I prefer designs that have one piece frame mounts, as opposed to individual feet. That way you gain a little frame support in the bargain, and usually the fit is a little better since the plates are laser cut and not subject to warpage during welding.

Are you looking for bolt on or weld on? My truck has the Trail Gear sliders that weld on and they angle up.

Personally a fan of the Demello Offroad sliders. They sit close to the body and have a nice upward angle. Like many mods, I look at them online and image what they'd look like on my truck.

Look at the part that bolts or welds to the frame. Some designs use a one piece formed section that all of the slider legs are welded to. Some designs use individual plates on each leg.

I have SOS sliders and skids and a bumper on the way, have been extremely happy and they are running a 20% off sale right now. Reach out to @ovrlndkull if you have questions.

Bolt on are plenty strong, stronger than your frame. Also as you said, you dont expect many rocks. Can't speak to cost. Can you weld them on or would you have to pay to have them welded on?

Here's another picture of my truck with the Trail Gear weld on so you can see the angle.

I have spoke to him already, I didn't know about the 20% off though. Thanks for the heads up.

My stepfather is a welder, so welding wouldn't cost me anything.

Due to sale, you may can connect with others in your area to combine shipping or avoid it all together. I'll tag you in the sale thread.

You've got my number if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. I see you were wondering about weld on, we can make them weld on for you. That option isn't on the site because it isn't very popular.
