    1. Colorado has a 30 day grace period on expired tags.

    2. Dealers don't issue titles, the state does. Not sure why they would tell you that. They could still be waiting on some sort of transition paperwork from the MSO to the state so the state can issue a title.

    3. Contact the sales man and sales department directly (you said your going in so that is good). While not technically their responsibility, they are the ones who suffer from a bad survey. Dangle that carrot in a calm professional manner if they seem to be blowing you off.

    4. The dealer went through some issues that I'm not sure if I'm allowed to discuss. I'm sure this is the root of your issues as the timing lines up. See if they tell you what happened. The office department and IT is still scrambling to get their shit back in line.

Does not apply to temp tags. Midnight on the date printed, they're toast.

It shouldn't, I'm trying to find the state statute but can't. I'm leaning now that it isn't "legal" but some areas have policies to include them into the same grace period as plates. I asked some of my friends in the field and got different answers, most were not ticketing for it but would use it for a stop reason.

O'Dells fucking rocks. I've never had a beer from them that I didn't like, even in styles that I'm not a big fan of. 90 Shilling is such a great everyday beer, and their Oktoberfest and Cutthroat Porter are some of my favorites.

That looks like a lot of trailer for $1600. I don't think I could get two tires and a tent for that little, much less any of the metal between them. Nice work.

Basically it's not explicitly stated. The way the grace period section reads only refers to renewals, not new registrations. You look at various other sections about penalties and 'temporary number plates' and they don't talk about a grace period, just that they expire after no more than 60 days. The most explicit reference is that the director of the department shall establish rules that apply across the state. So you jump out of the statutes and into the rules, and again they never mix temp tag language and the phrase grace period. At best they talk about how you can appeal a late fee.

I would expect nothing less than inconsistent enforcement from LEOs in the field. Just like modified exhaust systems, too dark window tint, use of auxiliary lights, and covered plates. Every county I have ever researched, asked, or heard about, temp tags aren't plates and don't get the grace period. That's why they have a day on them and not just a month, they're not actual registrations, they're temporary certificates of registration. As Marty linked, Denver makes it really explicit. I know up here in Larimer it's also enforced - had a friend get a Tesla last year and they were slow in getting him the proper paperwork to register, to the point even his second issue temp tags expired.

Also, I'm somewhat confused by the link you posted. They (quoted box) give two examples, the first a regular plate and mentioning the grace period, the second explicitly says temp tag expiring June 3rd, you get the late fee if you register June 4th, so no grace period.

The New Belgium thing makes me sad, I’ve always enjoyed most everything they make. Plus I liked the 100% employee owned aspect. When I was doing the tour one time (amazing tour thats free and gets you drunk) they talked about how the owner distributed the company to the employees when she retired. She did it to avoid having the company ever bought by a big corporation. But I guess that didn’t work out in the end.

Never been a huge fan. They make a few decent beers but overall mehhh

I too liked their beer and enjoyed the tour, then they expanded to a second bar and and built out the outside area. It became too big to enjoy for me but I still liked the LaFolie, then they shrunk from bomber to small bottles. I’m sure the corporate identity will change it further despite all efforts. All this being said there are a dozen other places within 10 minutes I would rather have.

From what @Deathbysnusnu relayed, it sounds like a great deal for the employees. I’m all for that! They have been a big supporter of CSU and I hope that remains in place. It is what it is. Personally I’d rather drink alone in my living room contemplating all the bad decisions I’ve made in life than hang on a patio full of hippies and hipsters.
