How did you mount them?

 

What do you guys think the best way to get this straightened out you think? jack up the body and let the suspension droop put some jackstands under the axle so it doesnt drop, loosen the ubolts, give it a little kick or something on teh right side, then alternate left and right side tightenning down the ubolts evenly as I lower the truck back down? or you think theres more to it than that?
I did install the AAL one side at a time rather than at the same time so im thinking thats probably how it got a little off kilter and i finished up in the dark that night.

He's going for the 25+ MPG in a Tacoma club. Very illusive they are.

 

What does that do for ride comfort, panic handling, and stopping distance? I imagine it’s good off-road or in snow though.

 

edit: THIS IS SARCASM: You gotta have 33's or 35's that'll destroy your mileage and power, plate bumpers that'll destroy your frame in a fender bender, 420 off road LED's that produce 4 billion candlepower, and $10K in shocks alone or ya' just ain't cool.

You'd have to ask him. But in all seriousness, I can't see if having a super negative impact on any of those things. Ride comfort has to do more with the load rating and amount of sidewall. Not sure what you mean by panic handling, but I assume that wouldn't be changed significantly. The brakes wouldn't have as much rotational mass with the reduced weight of the tire, so I'd imagine the braking distance would be improved. Something about inertia, a term i vaguely remember from physics.

Of course, I could be completely wrong. I'm only speculating.

Nice I went with a 235/75/17 wildpeaks, I absolutely love them, doesn't effect my mpg like big ole fat tires will, besides the curbs are only 6 inches tall at my mall, lol
