okay, new taco owner here. I've never had a car I felt could really handle off roading, but I think my '19 TRD OR can. My question is how much protection do I actually need. I mostly got it for making it up snowy mountains for snowboarding and carrying summer toys around (kayaks, paddle boards, hopefully some mountain bikes). Past that I'd be taking it out every once in a while to actually get it off a gravel path, and even then I don't think I've got the guts quite yet to really go hard core off road. Do y'all think I'd need rock sliders for any of that or just some heavy duty nerf bars?

Suggestions on either option are welcome!

Do these help prevent door dings at all?

I think they stick out far enough to prevent most door dings

FDDD119A-8508-46FE-84B5-59EAAB4065BF.jpg the running board on my 2003 DC limited is so tight against the truck I can barely use it as a step. are there extenders to add to it to bring it out and/or down more?

I have those exact running boards and they fit perfect. I did have to buy the screws that go under the cab because the bolts included were 10mm instead of 8mm. someone else on here said they got these and their hardware was correct, so maybe wait & see.

If anyone is local to SE TN I'll be removing my black oval tube steps soon. They'll probably be posted for sale on Facebook market place since I don't want to ship them.
