this is her car, she was going through the intersection and another car ran the stop sign at about 45mph and destroyed her front end. She was completley fine besides a little bit of soreness and brusing in her shins because of the floor airbag but thats it.

    That should buff out.

Glad to hear she's ok. Thats the first time I have seen floor airbags...pretty neat concept to minimize knee injuries.

Mighty putty is some great stuff! She can always get a new one now. Shoot even if they managed to fix that, I wouldn't wanna drive it anymore.

I was wondering since the passenger airbags deployed if there was someone in the passenger seat.

yea thats exactly wat i told her, if they did fix it, it would never ride/run the same at all. Insurence we dont think is going to give us much for it though, it was an 06 with 97,000 miles :/ (but still ran like it came right off the lot)

that was one thing we were wondering too, there was no one in the passenger seat, but the airbag deployed. shouldnt have because i believe it has the sensor for weight? hmmm

did she have a purse or handbag up there that was heavy enough to trigger the sensor? I know some of them women that like to tote what feels like bricks along in those bags. :p
