Firearm BS thread

I was getting retirement and financial advice from a coworker and talking about trusts. He explained that when he died he was having his firearms destroyed. I was like but why? He said because they are mine. I said that I'd take them and then didn't push the subject any more. Made me wonder though.

 

Heck, Im a full organ and scientific body donor. Im not even taking my own body with me. Why not let others enjoy my stuff when Im done with it.

Though, reading 50+ pages of trust and an additional 50+ pages of info left me cross eyed for a bit.

Does anyone have any experience with the Walther P22 Target?

 

Ill keep that in mind.
First change will cost me $280. Im sure the second change will be about 4-5x that...

 

My brother had one, it was okay, not great, just okay.

 

I do. Bought it to teach new shooters, first my Granddaughter, now my wife and couple across the street.

Keep it very well lubed and don't use low grain cartridges.

I wanted the target barrel and comp weight for my older P22 for the option, and ended up find another whole target model for the same price as a kit. In my experience, the difference in accuracy between the two models is zero. Just mentioning in case you were looking for actual target shooting 22 handgun.

 

I’m pretty happy with the way it shoots, top hole was still getting it sighted in, bottom one I pulled (the ones in the orange dot).

Cabela's has the 9mm M&P shield for $199 after rebate. I think the dates were December 2nd thru 8th.

 

I bought the shield, it was actually $179.99 after rebate ($279.99 and then $50 off from S&W and $50 off card from Sportsmans WH). I believe they are sold out now.

 

Get a ruger mark series in .22 over the Walther, the newer Mark IV are a breeze to take apart
