    Served from 1980 to 1987. Was stationed at swamp lagoon for 4 years and New River air station for 3. Did 2 Mediterranean floats and one NATO float. One of the Med floats we were dropped off in Beirut Lebanon. Was there when the US Embassy was truck bombed. I spent a lot of miserable days and nights while in, but I don't regret a day of it. Semper Fi !!

    Join the Army National Guard! Same commitment as the Army Reserve but it has cooler jobs available plus most states offer additional benefits and incentives that the Army Reserve cannot offer. Plus at the end of the day, at the end of your 1 weekend a month drill weekend, you still have 3 weekends a month to mess around with your Tacoma, and plus a little extra cash in your pocket to throw into your mods.
