Just curious. I have a 2010 4 cylinder regular cab 4x4 with the 5-speed. My RPM's at 65 seem high, around 2,300. Just curious what others are seeing.

    Thanks.

    I have a 4 cyl auto and I usually am around 2000 for 65, and 2200 for 70mph.

This is with secondary filter removed and an AFE Pro-Dry.

if its an auto i assume its 2wd right? 2wd have the lower gear ratio so that sounds about rate.

2300 at 65 sounds about right, the 4x4 2.7s have the 4.10 rear ratio

My 2009 was the same. That is normal. The auto's and 2wds run taller gears / lower rpm.

Air filters do not affect what rpm the engine cruises at.
