Anything like the anthrax series? Seems like every shot of that series had a different reaction, most of them burned and had different levels of pain attached to them somewhere from "ouch" to " why is my arm falling off?!"

Not really burning but woke up with aching from my arm over to my shoulder blade. Never experienced this before and have to get a second shot in 2 to 6 months.

    Good Morning Folks

I see my regular doctor on Monday and I'm going to ask about shingles.

I agree, speak up, to a point. I always have but since last summer I stopped.
When I did speak I always started by saying,
"I'm going to tell you something. Your not going to like it, but I'm saying it anyway."
In our last meeting I said to the plant manager, " Why should we say anything? Most of your staff thinks they know it all. We would get better results talking to a light pole in the parking lot."
The problem where I work is if you work 2nd shift you don't know anything.
I know I push the limit as to what I say.
Just be polite when you do speak up.

    I’ve been to those meetings.
Blah blah blah, sumthin sumthin sumthin
    We’re doin pretty good
    But,..

    We have some issues
You guys need to do better

One of my favorites was being involved in a job turn over meeting after the owner of the company had given us the we can do better rah, rah there’s no money fer raises speech the day before.

The clueless knob walks into the meeting bragging about the new Mercedes C class he has outside,..

He wasn’t investing in new equipment for the shop either

@Taco-Grinder The actual name of vaccine is Shingrix. In demand right now many pharmacys can't get it or people are on waiting lists. My Doc suggested I get it, insurance covered 100% so no reason to not get it, except for the pain.

I hope y'all got your shots, because that shit is no joke. Took my wife out for a month, and she never had chicken pox as a kid.

We've all been re-vaccinated because (apparently) getting it doesn't reduce your chances of getting it again.

Yesterday I received my 3rd letter from local Toyota dealer.
    Upgrade Notifications
First letter they would give my 20k for my truck as trade on a 2019 DCLB SR5 4x4 auto
Now 3rd letter,17k for my truck.
Plus $2000.00 Toyota Customer Cash Credit and $1872 Dealer Preferred Customer Bonus.
Letter says new truck would be $17320.
    Of course the famous words
    You may receive
    You may be able
    May not be combined
In stock vehicles only, but yet it says they will work with me to get into the exact vehicle I want.

My Doc said shot doesn't keep you from contracting shingles, but lessens the severity if you do get shingles. Really like and respect my Doctor so I get what treatment he suggests. Hopefully pain will be gone by the start of rifle season next Sat. A first for Pa with opener on Sat.
