"Bout time they had a Saturday opener.

We always rolled in Thanksgiving night and small gamed it for a couple days and went "visiting".

 

Yep, you might as well ache like the rest of us Kevin!

 

Saw six different shooter last Friday running around with swelled necks. Couldn't get them in for a shot. Hopefully they are around next weekend....

 

I watched the Dink I shot yesterday hook about 5 trees on his way to the Grim Reaper just ahead.

I actually think 1st rut is winding down here as they were frisky the last 2 weeks. 2nd rut in a couple weeks.

I don’t even gut them anymore. Meat on ice within the hour and too much work for the loins.
I process my own.

 

When I have the temps, I like to hang em for 2-3 days, sometimes more.
Had to take care of him early as the temps are in the 50's. Still OK, but I'd rather have cooler temps.

As long as the goods are in the cooler, I can whittle away and vacuum seal.

 

Yea we rarely have cold enough temps to hang so it’s off the bone in a hurry

 

Had some of my genuine German Schnapps.

 

How long ago was that? The 1st shingles vaccine was like that but this new one is supposed to be 95% effective and the 2 shots last the rest of our lives

 

Pain. Spent the last 2 weeks between a D6K, my dump truck, my loader and my pick up. Being as careful as I can, keeping suspension seats adjusted and climbing in and out of cabs as gently as possible and still had to take evening rides on the inversion table every other evening. This getting old stuff is getting more and more painful.

Good Morning !!!

Currently 43° clear high 52° light breeze from the NNE

Finally was able to get back asleep at 0400hrs and woke up at 0730hrs . Later this afternoon have a PT appt at the pain & torture palace

 

While in the Hospital I had a flu shot and pneumococcal vaccine . After that pneumococcal vaccine my arm hurt for a couple days

 

At least they gave it to you in the arm

 

The coumadin shots I received they alternated between the shoulder and the stomach !!!!

 

No shingles shot for me.... yet, anyway. Doc hasn't mentioned it... will ask next time I see him.
