    Does your replacement have to be a tandem? I've got a 17' ocean rig with a rudder that will be up for sale soon, but it only seats one..

    Don’t do it. Tandem kayak are bs, just an excuse that the gf/wife use to sit there watching you push around extra weight that’s not helping.

    That’s a legit kayak though. I have the same one. Highly recommend

    haha if she’s willing to come out on it into the Pacific Ocean to catch rockfish and lingcod I’ll paddle the dead weight! Katchaser- you could bring that thing out with you too when it’s nice out!
    I would keep both but don’t have the storage for everything.

    Took it out in Monterey a few weeks ago and while I fished, she started to drift away In a rented kayak, so I figured this might be an okay solution haha.

    I kinda felt bad for him when that happened. He is dedicating his entire life to this brand and to see something silly like that happen, I can’t imagine the humiliation.
