I know where you're coming from but it gets literally twice the range of my Tacoma. I would be stopping to refuel twice as much in the Tacoma as this. This suits the needs of most truck users for sure.

I'm not a huge fan of the looks right now but it will grow on us. I'm also not a huge fan of the air suspension. I would have thought they would go for an electromagnetic suspension for it. I guess Bose has that locked up though.

I have heard you need on the order of 300 sq ft to charge a sedan sized ev in a reasonable amount of time but don't quote me on that. I guess we could Google it

    In other words... Not practical

Puke. What the hell is Elon thinking? Killer specs though. If you want it loaded, it'll run at least a cool $77,000.

I'd never buy one, but appreciate the creativity. The specs - if proven - are impressive. Teslas are basically giant computers. And computers crash and fail all the time. I want to drive a truck, not a software driven computer.

    She ain't stock anymore.
He said something about a pressurized version being the official truck of Mars. I mean he already sent one car into space, so it's not the most far fetched idea to have a fleet of these crawling on Mars someday.

Y'all won't think it's ugly when it is also a boat, snow mobile, and submarine! Look at it, just take some air out of the suspension and use that third engine/motor like it's a jet-ski and you've got a boat that can go around the world off of solar power.

Plus it'll look damn good pulling those cool new off-road campers.

Needless to say, I'm waiting for the Tesla amphibious vehicle.

How often has a self driven tesla crashed compared to human caused crashes? I would much rather be on the road with computer controlled cars than people. The majority of people driving on the road are shitty drivers, and I would love for a computer to drive for them. Especially since self driving vehicles are not code written by programmers but drive by machine learning/AI.

It's proven that machine learning is much better and safer at driving than people at a whole, and not only driving but other tasks and competitive things like chess and even video games. There are companies out right now with machine learning AI that will be able to remove 50% of all administrative jobs done on computers.

I give him credit that Tesla is still going after all the failures the company has had be it the production numbers of Model 3's to the failed solar panel home roof. Lucky for Elon he has a fanboi following that rivals Apple. The few Tesla's I have been in have the fit/finish that would make a 80's British car look good. Terrible for what your paying for.

I have bad knees... It was more like a longing, hard to watch limp. Besides, my setback was nowhere near $77k. Where in the PNW are you?
