No idea, this just started happening with colder weather. When I originally flashed 87fob over the summer, no bucking what so ever.

I'm going to try tonered suggestion tonight. Reset learn values with the engine warmed up. See if it makes a cold start difference or how long it will last.

Called it to a T tonight leaving my shop. I purposly drove shitty into 2nd gear to get the rah rah rah rah raaaaahhhh. Smoothed out after a few stop signs

The second gear bucking was why i wanted to buy ovtune.

Now that I'm reading you guys still have this I'm gonna continue to hold off.

I get the buck in first sometimes too. When it does this pulling out into traffic, it causes the truck to fall on its face, then it will not respond to throttle input.

When it decides it's ready it will spin the rear tires and then traction control kicks in, vicious, dangerous cycle.

Damn near been hit twice from this.

I think that’s an issue that’s present with the 1.05 FOB tune on some trucks / situations / whatever. I saw the same thing on my truck but running other tunes, I haven’t had it.

I'm not sure if it is the winter gas blend now, but my truck is starting to revert back to the "dull" throttle at times (I have been on 87 Base tune since June). I may reset the LV's this weekend and see if that helps.
    Can't wait for 2.0

2017. Mainly a 2018 thing with a couple 2019 trucks thrown in. (Possibly early 2019's.)

OVT not saying. BUT has anyone started a HELP ticket?

I don't see a need to reach out, as they are working on final tunes. I'm not complaining around here, it only happens to me with a cold engine. One or twice per local drive.

I only post around here to add my experiences. For what it's worth, I have heavier skinny 33s on my taco. With smaller tires/lighter wheels fob was way more of a beast.

I performed learn value reset last night warmed up and did some joy riding, felt smoothed out- 1.05 87FOB

I’ve been running 2.0 beta which is better all around IMO

No desire to go back to previous tunes

Understood. But we did spend $700. The answer as to cause may be valuable to both parties. Not saying we should harass OVT

Let's put it this way... IF 2.0 does it on my truck, I'll definitely be logging a call.

A tune won't do this at operating Temps. On my stock tune it was all over the place, but most of that I assumed was breaking in. Hell I don't even consider this truck well broken in yet at 11,000miles

I'd be pretty funny if the mods haven't removed that Goatse by now.
