Hello, I am looking for some help with my gear install and I cannot seem to come up with a shop in my area. I am in the New Haven area in Connecticut, any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks so much!!

You aren't the first person to say the same thing LOL. San Fran is just filthy, streets, people, and of course the mini tent cities. Napa was nice. Sacramento was ok. Clearlake, which is the reason for the trip seemed ok but the customer said its full of "tweakers" aka meth heads so lock up your car, they'll steal anything that isn't bolted down

Funny tidbit, about work, because of the discussions we've had before.

So I tag my supervisor on stuff to help, since my co-worker is out and when I don't really know too much about it I ask for help... so what ends up happening??!!??!!

Yup, you guessed it... it gets thrown back at me.

That sounds like your supervisor doesn't know how to do it either or he is just a lazy fuck. I'm a firm believer in cross training on everything. It makes an organization MUCH more efficient and it builds your peeps up and they are WAY more willing to work. My guys work their ass's off for me because I have spent so much time encouraging them and training them up.

Suck you have to deal with that crap man!

 

I'll give my supervisor the benefit of the doubt for now, because she's involved in so much "shit" with a ton of other stuff that our "team" handles sort of speak.

But I'll tell you what though... after the week I've been having, and the shit I've gotten for stuff I have no clue about and no idea what was going on because it's not mine, I've just about had it. All kidding aside, this is it for me.

The job search will start tonight.

 

And I won't even get into the SHITLOAD of daily emails I've been going through because of having to do two people's jobs... that in itself is fucking absurd.

 

Question for you guys with the morimoto fog lights. Iam going to be ordering the morimoto XB fog lights when I see the right price online for holiday sales. I was wondering how many of you have them with the yellow laminex film on them since we are in New England. Do you think it is worth putting the film on with the order or should I wait a bit?

 

I have them, but without the film.

 

Well I was filling out the paperwork to trade my Tacoma for a new Tesla Cybertruck when I realized I could not get it in Super White. I ripped up the paperwork and left the Tesla dealership.

That thing is butt ugly even as a concept vehicle.

 

Kinda makes the Honda Ridgeline look good.

Uhhh, it must have got the bad genes from both sides of that!

 

Dunno if those have glass or plastic lens, but the film certainly would take the road rash & protect the lens itself. I'd assume when they start to show rash you could apply heat & change out the film.

on a side note - DANG, it's windy outside.

 

I have seen people putting the clear film over their lens for protecting the lens too. I definitely like the idea of it being protected. Either way.
