Be interesting to see some real world towing stats. Supposedly can do 14k but what sort of hit will that do to the range. Same with the 3500lb payload

And best part of their unveiling.....breaking their "unbreakable" glass.

I kinda Want it, I’ve been considering getting a model 3 lately. That dual motor AWD with 300 miles of range is very enticing

I’m pretty stoked that the Goodyear Mtr is the tire of the future!!! The tire wheel combo on that thing looks crazy

For sure. We all know how bad our mileage is if we tow something heavy.

I was literally laughing out loud when I saw him shatter the glass when he threw it.

The 3 is great. My buddy actually takes his 3 to the track and it does very well. They just released a software update and he logged a 3.3 0-60...on wet pavement.

I'm leaning towards the Y when it comes out to replace my wife's acura rdx. optional 3rd row, good range and same performance as the 3.

Its crazy how consistent the Tesla's are on the track. There was a P100D that did drag week this year and at every track it was pretty much 10.3-10.6 in the 1/4 at ~130 every pass. Yet all the traditional cars were all over the place and having to change tunes/settings.

So, just got rear ended again. Was turning into a parking lot from a main street when someone was crossing the sidewalk so I had to stop. Person clipped the corner of my rear bumper and took off. Tore a hole in his fender though. The impact itself was pretty minor and I'm just going to rattle can it. The fuck is wrong with people.

Another good option. Didn't have to bother with a jack and jack stands I guess. It's all back to normal now.
I also need to have the calibration on my torque wrench tested/adjusted.

To me, it still looks like a lump of $hit. I used to like the 1983-1984 Vector but it is too many angles...

That bumper has saved you lots of damage...

Yeah not complaining. Just don't understand how you not see an orange truck in front of you slowing down. Rear ended 3x times in 1 year now and the last 2 accidents 1 month apart ugh.

Bumpers are a great investment. I've taken two in the rear. You're welcome for the setup JIM.

I just noticed today that my spare tire used to have an angle to it and now it's flat. Me and and my GF checked it out and the spare mount isn't bent or anything. Just need to loosen the bolts and push the bottom out and tighten. I like the angle of the spare because if I slowly back into the concrete wall at work the tire will touch before the gas can carrier. Also the first truck that hit me only contacted the spare tire.

Amazing the damage that rubber can do

I really want to see the suspension tested offroad at speed. 16" of ground clearance is a lot... I think the 500-mile range is a critical upgrade.
If someone gave it to me I'd still feel weird driving it around town. But if it sells like the model-3 then Seattle will have many armored getaway vehicles. I feel like police forces should be just a little nervous. I mean any of the performance models currently on the road in the wrong hands would be difficult to stop

It was a 1st gen Chrysler 300 and in Renton. Most likely you are correct.

Teslas scare me they catch fire a lot. I don't like to park near one.
