Before my 2.5's I ran Toytec 2.0 non extended with .25" spacer on top and enough preload to put me @ 3" lift, loved the look of my truck road manners where great, off road the shocks would top out pretty quickly but performed well, now with my 2.5 extended travel I can't run a spacer because of travel issues so my truck sits a bit low in the front for what I like, but I just got done with an elk hunt spent 4 days of rough ass mnt. road ralling and I will say I'll deal with my truck sitting a little low for the performance gained.

mine were, too, probably to about 52-53k. after i noticed some damping gone, it was a surprisingly quick decline. but that's happened with all the shocks I've ever used, so i guess it's not really surprising.

My coilovers have developed a low speed clunk. I'm thinking my nitrogen is low. When I get my refill station I want to be prepared and do the refill correctly.. It makes sense that I would have to lift my truck off the ground to get an accurate reading on the nitrogen pressure. Can anyone confirm if I have to refill with the tires off the ground/suspension unloaded? I've read to aim for 200 psi on the fox 2.5 extended with resis.
I have 2.0 with resis on the rear. Are those charged to 200 as well??

Yes, charge to 200 psi. Yes, shock needs to be fully extended to charge and check pressure.

If you’re low on nitrogen then it went somewhere. Charging them may be a temporary solution. How many miles do they have?

I've been chasing the clunk since install. Thought it was LBJ. Then suspected my spc UCAS. Pulled the sway bar. Clunk is still there. The rad mount bushings were toast so I replaced those which made the metallic chirp go away but the clunk is still there. I'm thinking the shocks were never fully charged since new.

I've also replaced the LCA bushings with whitelines. And torqued to spec. I can't think of anything else.

I'd rather just do it right myself.. also avoiding the hassle of pulling them out and reinstalling sounds alot more appealing. Also a good excuse for more tools

Probably your SPC UCAS before anything else if you're confident on the install work. I just had to warranty mine out. I should replace them this week and can give you a update. Im clunking too. They got a bad batch of bearing. FML. Link below has some good info.

I'll check with fox. I hope not. If I can get away with jacking the wheels off the ground and charging them that'll be best case scenario.
I've been watching that thread and actually have made some contributions as well. Sadly I've also warrantied those and it wasn't the issue. I thought for sure it was.

Posted the same on the other thread but Let me know your results with the Nitrogen Charging. Id be interested to hear if that fixes your problem. I hate to hear you're have issues man. The reason I think mine is my UCA is because I originally installed my setup with my original coil-overs with spacer and the new SPC UCAS and they still made the sound. So I dont think it is the fox Coil-overs on my end.

Can someone help me out with identifying if these are extended or standard travel 2.5s?

    Part #?

Will be engraved into the bearing cap. Right where the shaft goes into the body.
