Drinking my favorite bourbon of them all. Had most of the BTAC, all the Van Winkles except the 23, and lots of other highly sought after stuff, but this still is my top. Celebrating a buddy's second child entering the world!

The rest of the stuff for tonight.

Not in my pic? That is a good batch, though.

I'm drinking 2015-01 "Big Man, Small Batch". 98 on Distiller app. Top 10 whiskey and Top 3 bourbon. It's so good. I'll scare up the picture of the first bottle I had back in 2015.

Good looking lineup and I love the Noe Secret!

I'd go 1920, Rare Breed, Booker's, then finish strong with Stagg Jr

Bryan what do you think of Booker's 25th vs 30th?

Sorry for the delay man. It was rough. I always feel like I could have done better after an interview though. I should be hearing back beginning of next week.

Haven't scored a 25th, but I have a 30th in the cabinet. The 30th is incredible. It punches with the BTAC stuff in that manner of a barrel proof whiskey being delivered so unbelievably elegantly.

The Big Man, though, it's just right in my bourbon wheelhouse. Pepper, baking spice, just enough charred oak, big up front punch, lasting finish including vanilla and baked apple. The torque curve, if you will, isn't quite as flat as the 30th, but it isn't as peaky as many barrel proof bourbons.

This doesn't have the slightly fruity profile that most everything since 2018-01 has. It's what I think of when I think of Booker's. Shiny Barrel and Country Ham are a return to these roots, in my opinion.

Edit: On the Booker's night live stream on Whiskey Crusaders that I was a part of, we ended up trying Big Man, Booker's 30th, and 2017 GTS side by side. Big Man was the unanimous winner.
