Was looking at possibly getting some retrofit Morimoto H1 7.0 Projectors headlights for my truck.
Any reviews or feedbacks here from someone with them?

 

Are those pics of the light thrown by those H1 7.0? If so, those look hella nicely tuned..... Man, I reeeealllly like that light beam

 

Yes they are, it’s time for me to get some better headlights, projector types.
They are expensive but will be worth it

 

Are you just trying to determine if you’re getting ping?

 

I just wish someone made some headers that ran down both sides of the motor with a crossover after the transmission. I’m just assuming that if the crossover right behind the dash is what makes the exhaust noticeable from the cab.

 

There's a steering shaft and steering rack in the way.

 

I can't hear mine there really, my Z car had a crossover like that and it was quiet too. Maybe you have an exhaust leak there?

 

Possible, but AFRs seem to be good via wideband. It’s a southern truck so not much rust and only 150k miles.

If there is one it’s at the 3 way flange before the cat. But I can’t seem to feel any exhaust nor is there any soot.

 

There was a set made by Downey at one time. Possible that they didn’t preform well or maybe CARB was an issue.

 

You're on stock exhaust? Headers and high flow cat will make a huge difference with the S/C, I highly recommend it.

 

Stock right now. I have a set of JBAs that I’m going to get a shop to install because I hate exhaust work.

 

Yes. I want it quiet. I will get more comfortable as I go. It’s a daily driver. So I don’t want issues. I need a year on it to go through this winter and summer.

 

Yeah it's a bit of a pain in the ass, unless you're hardcore like @Digiratus and just yank the motor to put your bling on.

 

I like this and hate this at the same time.

That would not help the a/f sensor since there’s only one

 

Looks like a tight fit to weld in a AFR sensor there.
