What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did the bilstein lift from bilsteinlifts.com.

had it on my last tacoma and it was fantastic. It’s only $799.99. Come with the added leaf in the back, front diff drop kit, eibach shocks and bilstein 5100 shocks.

 

I like your stroller mount! I just need a mount for my full size spare next

 

So did it say you were gonna get 2.5 out of it? Did you actually get 2.5? Or did it say 3 and you got 2.5?
Im just asking cause I just put mine on from Headstrong but with OME coils.

I used a dremel with a cutting wheel for most of it. Also used some snips and scissors. Cleaned it up with a grinding wheel and sandpaper.

 

I am waiting on it to settle before doing a measurement. I think I got 2.5” out of it and another 1.5” from my tire size going up. Yes sir, 799.99 plus tax.

 

What size wheel and tire?
I was only able to get a 2in lift all around on mi e plus whatever I get when I put the wheels on. I should have gone to that site. I got to excited and people had recommended Headstrong quite a few times.

I went 265/75/16, the KO2s run a tad bit larger too! I have put these shocks through a lot on my last truck and they held up perfectly. What I love is all the kit comes with, it’s ensures you have a safe lift and doesn’t destroy your drive train.

I added some door and tailgate reflectors using Tenacious Tape

 

Has anybody removed the ring in the pax side?

P.S.
I read and tried the tips I found somewhere in this forum. It was easy to pry it off to remove the trim ring on the pax side...now on to the next mod!

 

How did you take them out? That looks good! I might just do that.

 

I got some AJT design vent trim rings and he has an Install instruction in YouTube. But I didn’t see how to remove the pax side.
