Nasty, indiscriminate stuff. Lots of invertebrates, among other things.
Kinda like chickens do, but in the water.

Domestic duck is too greasy. Wild duck is the opposite.

It takes a way better cook than me to make wild duck (mallards) palatable.
The breast meat is so lean and full of blood vessels it comes out like liver. But tougher.

It's a challenge and fun to shoot them on the wing.
But it's kind of a waste, so I quit.

After my dad died, me and his best buddy became really good friends. Started fishing together alot and just hanging out some and bullshitting. Tonight me and my wife (or, my wife and I) are gonna go over and visit him and his wife. He's cooking filets, I'm gonna watch.
