I’m going to piggy back only your news since we’re talking Uncle Sam’s relocation service...I’m headed out to the Aloha State next summer for a 3-year vacation. Time to get the truck ready for the dreaded recon inspection.

I offer both congratulations on the move home, and sympathy about the cross-country drive in winter. Depending on how far into the NW you're going, does it make sense to take 40 across and then go up?

 

So... A little news in my life. I found myself in the unique situation of being "able" to retire early, but not really "ready" to retire, but my commute had me seriously considering early retirement. So I have made arrangements with my company to become a full-time "cloud asset" (otherwise known as a telecommuter)!

Pretty psyched about that.
