Oh, I see. Yeah the Cali Raised harness I bought did not feel like it would stay by itself from only pushing it into the slot. My Auto insurance guy also told me if I broke a windhsield from a rock or anything, that they could blame me for it by putting pressure against the edge of the glass. I live in The PNW and get chips and cracks very often so I did not want to risk it.

No that’s perfect bud. That’s what I was thinking about doing just making sure I wasn’t over thinking it. My rack came today. Hopefully I can get it done Saturday.

Ive got a question for mounting rotopax to a victory rack. Do i need to buy their mounting plate or is there a way i can mount rotopax solidly without that?

    Monday morning :D

Yep you can use the little round mount that comes in the rotopax mount kit to rig it up. Some light fab work with some plate aluminum or sheet steel and you're good to go. Our plate that spans two bars makes it way more stable, but it's not rocket science to fab your own.

cool, im also looking at picking up your light bar for the roof rack and just trying to find info. On mounting it to the rack. My roof rack came with some extra pieces of metal. Im wondering if they are brackets for mounting the light bar since i got the rack with cut out.

Subbed. I've got a Prinsu Access Cab rack priced out but hate their shipping costs.

I felt the same way too. You can go to Truck Brigade and get a Prinsu with no shipping cost. Check it out.

Just call the sales team. I'm sure they can match whatever legit pricing you find on Prinsu if you'd rather have our rack. 269-459-8447

I’m waiting for your Black Friday deal to drop — I’d rather have your rack so I’ll wait til Monday to see what your deal is.

I've asked a few people personally but can anyone who has installed light bars on their roof rack give me some pictures and input on how they ran the wiring? I don't want to drill any holes and prefer to run it down the windshield. From what I can tell the wiring looks rather thick on most wiring harnesses and I'm not sure if it will fit under the molding down the windshield. If it's gonna look crappy then I don't want to do it. My OCD just won't let me...lol. If anyone has pics, ideas or input I would greatly appreciate it. If I can't do it cleanly then I will either go without a light bar or even go with a OEM roof rack. Thanks

maxx Powell runs a Cali raised harness down the windshield when he installs his. Check it out on YouTube to see if it will work for you. Probably the route I go when I get around to running the wires.
