Nice man Hawaii should be cool but don’t get island fever! Lots of cool hikes and beaches to explore .....just not by truck haha. Pretty good crew out there though.

 

I’m going to Seattle so as NW as you basically can. Might go lower than SD to avoid to frozen tundra plains and try to catch a few state parks hopefully not totally frozen but still would be cool. My Dad is flying out and driving with me so it should be an awesome trip and quality time.

 

Ever seen a redneck trailer where they weld a hitch onto the back end of a pick up? I saw an FJ towing and off road trailer with a hard side RTT on top that was basically the back end of a service truck with one of these Reading service truck bodies as the trailer. I wonder what the weight is on that?

Truck beds/back halfs turned into trailers is pretty common out in NM. I've never seen one with a utility bed like that on it though.

 

Guess it is different when on the receiving end.

 

That’s actually pretty clever. I would imagine it’s certainly heavy for its size but probably not toooooo terrible. Maybe 3k loaded up. Just hope he added trailer brakes of sorts if it is that much

Yeah. At first I thought it was a military trailer since it sat up so high, then realized what it was. They do make an aluminum version of that service body. So if he got that the weight might be pretty decent.

The way my plans are currently, I'll be able to to retire at 50. But honestly, that's another 15 years of work and money that ill miss out on, so if remote work is a possiblity, then that's route I'd go as well.
