Love the color. I went with a white pro but I still look at the cement trucks and wish mine was that color.

I agree. But white is a good second choice.

How much did you pay for your pro before taxes and fees?

Right at invoice but I didn’t pay any fees and got a couple add ons thrown in for free. I was stepping down from an M3 that was worth more so I didn’t haggle too much.

Toyota does a great job with their unique colors. This is my second one- I had an army green FJ too.

Not to say the white doesn’t look great, too.

Yeah I love white, I’ve had more white vehicles than anything over the years. Wife usually does silver but went gray this time. White and silver are easy colors but that cement is just sexy. Jeep’s Sting-Gray color looks amazing too (but I don’t want a heep).

I traded my genesis in for this truck. No buyers remorse, but the seats were about 1000x more comfortable. You'll miss the bolsters in your M3.

I was having considerable wear already with only 20k miles on the seat bolsters in the M3. I miss the roar at startup (it was tuned, flaps open all the time), the manual trans and the throttle response. Oh the throttle response! I do not miss seeing my wife struggle getting in and out of it or the lack of not having a truck. Hauling PVC pipe from the windshield to the trunk sucked. And so did having to bag yard tools to carry them back and forth to the rental. I considered keeping it and adding a truck but the cost of long term ownership was beginning to concern me. I’m in the hospital now with my poor wife, she just had spinal fusion surgery on Friday. Hoping to be able to go home tomorrow evening and then the fun will really begin, 2-3 months before she can return to work.

I'm sorry to hear that. I understand the long-term cost argument. My vehicle still have a good bit of value after returning it to stock and if I held it any longer, it'd be a losing game. I will miss the look I got with half sheets of plywood stacked up on the roof rack and still managed to blow people away at the light. Food for thought: don't take her home in the Taco after that surgery. Hoping all is well...

LOL, no doubt! She drives a 2019 MDX so that’s in the parking lot waiting to take her home. Since I’ve had so much down time the Tacoma is getting some new toys. I’ve ordered some BudBuilt rock rails (sliders that don’t stick out) and a few other small goodies. This hospital stay has put a hurting on my wallet, I’ve bought a lot of crap online...lol

Before the surgery got moved up I was supposed to be doing the Georgia Traverse this weekend with some friends. Going to push that trip to Spring now. At least I’ll have some more protection on the truck just in case. Supposed to be really easy trail rides anyway.

I was checking out their armor kits, but they don't sell any without the front skid. I'd hate to get more than what's needed.

I haven’t decided on who’s skid plates to go with yet or what is really needed for what I’ll be using my truck for. I’m not going to be rock crawling at all, more of just trail rides and camping. I picked up the BAMF rear diff skid already and then now these rock rails. I also don’t want to get extra and if I get more skid plates I want to make sure they work with the TRD front skid plate.
