High school relationships were awesome, it was the ones after high school that sucked....some girls still had that high school mentality....

I had a way off attracting girls with daddy issues...

 

I got into an abusive relationship because it fit the model my parents taught me and I didn't have the awareness to realize it at the time

I'm starting over in the coming months (and/or up to a year lol)

My girl/ex still live together and talk often..in fact more now since we decided to split, but we'll be moving apart from each other soon.

It helps having a strong friendship and its helped the both of us not linger in "what was" but instead, what we have now.

 

That is really shitty. It must have been painful to find that out after so long.

But really though, I've learned many years ago to live for today.

At the same time, it's going to be real difficult letting someone new into my life.

Ana had even asked me out to the movies tonight but I kindly declined.

 

I think thats my problem. I never live for the day. I always plan for the future.

 

That's so fucked up.

On another forum I'm on, a guy had posted a thread about his girlfriend and how he's suspicious of her cheating.

He later found out she was, and was getting advice from everyone about how to go about confronting her etc. First order of business was getting all of his firearms out of the house! The rest was easy afterward.

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with planning for the future, you're young.

But it's easy to say...work a lot and talk about building a strong future and retirement only to give so little of yourself to those around you.

I like to believe I was an amazing provider, friend, etc. to my ex wife but I did neglect her a lot due to work. People fall out of love unfortunately.

 

On a lighter, funnier note, my really good friend and I said if were not married or something at 36 or so we'll just marry each other lol

I mean she already cooks me food and has brought me some from time to time. That and she actually loves wheeling which I took her for the first time 2 weeks ago.

 

I'll try to get that for you tomorrow morning.
