Without getting into the details, my ex didn't want anything to do with our kids, so I raised three kids as a single dad. At the time, mine were boy 3, boy 8, and girl 9.

sprayed FF on the battery terminals of relatives truck, is this an ok thing to do

the posts were seriously corroded after 8+ years of never being cleaned
corrosion leaking across many spots on the battery surface
    it is a mess

the FF just sizzled on it and started stinky fierce

i am the polar opposite me thinks
living in the past because it cannot be changed! it is what it is, you know what happened
you can do analysis onit and then 'try' to change the future that is still unknown
doesn't seem to always work out though, it never does
shoulda did this, shoulda did that ... all the what ifs & shoulda woulda coulda

Probably not the best thing. Use a can of Coke next time. Works excellent for cleaning battery terminals and for cleaning a dirty windshield when you run outta wiper fluid. Also works great, albeit slowly, at dissolving rust. Might think twice about drinking it now, eh? o_O

Eh, keeps the insides clean haha.

Its totally fine to put silicone/ff etc on battery posts after theyve been cleaned and reconnected. Its an insulator, so dont do it before you connect the leads.

i thought the FF instructions of use said can be applied to battery terminals, i shall read those instructions again!

does the coke have to be fizzy or can it be flat, i have never tried that

Per previous posts, it seems FF is fine on battery terminals. But probably doesn't work so well at cleaning them, more so for keeping them clean.

Coke can be flat but fizzy is usually better. Think Scrubbin' Bubbles

Got home the other night to a new set of tires at the back door.

My kid decided to replace his two month old Toyo Open Country AT2 (285/75/16) with some Falken Wildpeaks. He has the Toyo's already sold.
