    Went to Bayside yesterday for oil change kit. They only have bulk oil for the service they do. At least they had the filter. Used Mobil 1 again. Guess I’ll have to purchase genuine Toyota oil off the internet :mad:

    Up here you can pay for trash collection or take your trash to the landfill.

    I'm guessing the average size is 64 gal? :notsure:

    Those 7 bags, plus the box full of cardboard that was in the back seat is essentially 2 months worth, whis about average for us.

    It costs $7 a load to go to the dump.

    Collection means I would have to schlep my cans down the approximately 1,200 ft of drive, in the rain, snow or whatever, hope no raccoons get into it, then schlep them back up to the house.

    Financially, it's $8,000 vs >$800 :p (for the 17 years we've been up here)

    Don’t know how much it is here. I’m better off not knowing. I do know that about 5 years ago they cut back from 2 days a week to one day- Friday. No reduction in taxes, imagine having a crab feast on Saturday, leaving the scraps in the trash can outside, summer, for the whole week. Doesn’t work! Plus now we have trash police riding around checking your recycling. In you have 1 plastic bag, say a grocery bag in it, they won’t pick it up. I know for some of you poor folk this sounds like pathetic whining, but it does make me feel better. BTW Rob, do you have any gray poop on?
