For the left of the steering wheel? My garage door opener fits perfectly in the cubby, so I'm wanting to keep that if I can. Just used my gasshole for the first time by the way!

Hey RainierSky, I like that switch setup. If I put heated seats in, I was going overhead console (higher cost), but your location is great for me. Would appreciate any part numbers for kit, switches, cost, etc. Even on past cars, and current Avalon, switches don’t reset. That’s ok though.

If I read your site correctly, using the 8 hole switch panel would require modification to the structure of the surrounding areas. Is this correct?

Both the 7 and 8 hole panels require modification?

You could add them in the overhead panel.

I could but that would be way more work than I want to do and taking apart way more of my truck than I really want considering it has less than 1000 miles on it.

I have the exact same setup. Mine don't turn off with the ignition either.

I am putting in heated seat kit right now with these same switches and knew I ran across this pic several weeks ago. Wanted to make sure it is hollow before drilling and did not want to tear the whole center console apart to find out. Thanks.

Not true my friend, have a look at how I did mine. Move the q charger and put Toyota style switches on each end. Worked out perfect. This pic was taken right after the install, I put a little interior shine spray and gave it a little gloss. IIMG_20190220_104258103.jpg IMG_20190219_215900261.jpg

    Not who you quoted, but...
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MEE6KLX

    This is what I used.
I bought a 5 blank panel and mine looks factory. Works fine still 2 years later.

I used the 2 power outlet fuses. Only work if ignition is on.

I bought the besond kit on Amazon with the "Toyota" style switches, i.e., the 4runner dial type switches. Because I have a 2019 TRDOR MT w/tech, I had one free switch blank in the lower dash panel. I never liked how the USB/AUX was there anyway, I prefer it in the center console or somewhere more hidden like in my past Subies, so I rerouted it to the center console. Bought a USB/aux extender cable on Amazon, drilled a hole in the center console for it, and then I had anoter free switch blank. Super happy with the setup so far, and it was pretty easy installing everything. Heres a pic: IMG_20191109_122259.jpg IMG_20191111_171015.jpg

I have the same kit with switches in the same areas on my 2016. I’ve had them for 3 years now and I wouldn’t change a thing.
