It’s too bad he hasn’t figured out a better shipping method. Ordered some swag on the 16th to show support.Shipping label created on the 20th and as of today still has not shipped. I can only imagine how many calls to the customer service department are about order fulfillment.

Ah ha! VVT surge. I've been trying to figure out what the Hell this weird hesitation surge thing is and haven't been able to figure it out yet. Almost like bad gas...timing... But after reading your little right up on the VVT acting up around 3800. Well, I think that's it. I just switch back to 1.05.1 87 and haven't had a chance to run it up a road where I can always make that surge happen. Hopefully if it doesn't act up with this tune I'll atleast know the culprit. Thanks @ohioboater

Surge nearly non-existent in 2.0 beta. Power all the way through the rpms.

Yes, I saw your other post (very helpful)
But it implies you had to get the files by email (your point #5), not the ones posted on the ovtuned website beta page that I asked about.
See post #54252, where member shellshock suggests the same.

Attached is the error I get trying to upload the website files.

No biggie, I've emailed Zendesk for the files, just haven't heard yet, but I'm sure they are busy (no complaints)

Yes, the surge is there in the factory tune as well. Every variable valve timing vehicle I’ve ever owned has had some form of surge. A while back Mat posted about some sort of acoustic tuning he did on a dyno that smoothed out the transition. I’m guessing the 87 version of 19800 includes those tweaks, because the transition is almost imperceptible.

If my calibration file code on my truck is 04B01 I can not download the file? The only option I have on the tune is 04B02 and 04B23 I live about 2 hours from the nearest dealership. Is there anyway to update myself?

You can use Techstream, if you also have the tactrix cable
    Is this for a 2016?

If you are an AT then you go to 04b02 to o4b03 to 04b04 - you can go directly from 04b01 to o4bo4. Do a search on this thread for tech stream - the link for the software has been posted along with the file for the TSB upgrade. Or do a search for TSB's and print out the one for high altitude shifting issues - take it with you to the dealer and tell them your truck exhibits these issues when driving over I70 high mountain passes. They might do the tsb for you. They should be free.

Denver but 2 hours away? So close to Denver, Colo Springs ? ???Trying to figure what dealer might be best option.

Do you have a genuine Tactrix cable or will others(knockoffs)work to flash the TSB update?

Take note that Techstream and the OVTune are separate programs, you do not need to "register" anything from OVTune to install techstream. IIRC after the techstream software has downloaded on your computer and you open it for the first time there is a page that asks for "registration information, dealer name ect.. fill it with giberish and click next ;)
