ive had bad luck with aftermarket fuel filler necks. i dont know why, they just some steel tubing. but they almost always fit poorly or throw an EVAP code from a poor weld on the breather tube

I've never rotted out a filler tube, just don't live in a place where that's a reality. But sometimes cars come here from horrible places where that is a reality and often times the ones I see are aftermarket and I'd be willing to bet they're not coated as well inside or outside.

 

do you know if i need anything else to replace this to the fuel tank, assuming this is where the leak is at

hoses or
clamps?

I personally have never had an issue with one. My girlfriends stratus and her brothers car needed ones.

Then I’ve done a few on other cars for stupid evap codes

That is a decent price for those isn't it?

 

Yeah they're real SSR wheels and they're not new, they're older than me almost for sure. They had to be brought here from Japan, no one retails them in the states. But I'm thinking they'd look amazing on a white truck with LT, 35s, and no more old man camper shell

if its a fuel line would it leak only while running?

 

Yeah it definitely would look killer, 35s really are that sweet spot looks wise for Toyota 4x4s in general it seems.
